Yuliia Kyrieva
TauntonMy work is inspired by the coast and nature, and the connection I’ve always felt to places that feel like home. I’m originally from Ukraine, and moving and growing up between places has made that feeling of “home” even more important to me.
The sea has always been something that grounds me — always changing, but constant at the same time. This store is a collection of paintings that come from that feeling. I’m drawn to the balance between movement and calm, and I try to capture those quiet moments in nature where everything just feels still and real.
Art has always been personal to me. I started painting young, and it’s become a way to express not just what I see, but what those places mean to me. Every piece I create is a small part of that.
Artistic background
I’m a Ukrainian artist living in the UK, and I’m inspired by the quiet side of nature — the kind you almost miss if you don’t slow down. A lot of my work comes from feelings, memories, and certain moments that stay with me for no obvious reason. I’m drawn to stillness, to being alone, and to the way light and shadow can completely change a mood. When I paint, I’m trying to capture something that feels fragile but real — something you don’t just see, but feel.”Interests
Nature, experimenting with different art styles and themes, and exploring darker, more emotional atmospheres in my work.Accepts Commissions?
