Diana Weil works as a photographic artist in Bad Sassendorf, Germany, with a focus on light and floral subjects. Her starting point is the bloom, photographed in the early morning hours. More important than the single motif is usually the light itself.

In her images, visibility and dissolution overlap. The form stays recognisable, but the light becomes the actual material, both formally and in content.

Born 1967 in Germany. Trained as a commercial and industrial photographer, with many years of applied practice. The artistic work has grown out of that precise visual language.
