Red white and black abstract. Quite dramatic painting which I quite liked. Interesting and something you can spend time with.

Artistic background

Been painting for about 30 years . I started with watercolour and loved the flow and freedom. Now using acrylics and collage on canvas. Went to commercial college after finishing school, worked for American oil company, Occidental oil company in Tripoli for 5 years in late 90s. I was selling through fine art publishers Buckingham Fine Art, for several years.

Interests

Art, animals especially dogs. I love loose, impressionistic paintings with flowing colours, watercolour and acrylic inks are best for this effect, but inks are difficult to control, and I will be going back to watercolour for a while. I also like a bit of drama in a painting, favourite colours for this red, black and white. also using collage especially newsprint.
