Artistic background
I have a degree in Illustration from DeMontfort University, after which I worked for many years as an educational illustrator. Since retiring I have branched out as a painter working in inks and acrylics. I also love linocut which I incorporate into my artwork.
Interests
I love walking and live near to beautiful countryside. I am inspired by the natural world, and my paintings are often populated by trees, plants and birds. I see no distinction between Design and Fine Art and have a massive enthusiasm for vintage textile design from any era.
