Artistic background

Art has always been my absolute passion! Following a further education in Art, I have been working as a professional, full-time artist for the past 15 years and love experimenting with different textures and techniques. I live in a little village in the Yorkshire Dales with my husband, my son and youngest daughter who is 16 years old. My eldest daughter has fledged the nest now. I work from a home-based studio and like to keep busy! A lot of the work I carry out is for customers on a commission basis, creating bespoke art in specific colours or sizes, so if you would like to commission me, please just get in touch! A lot of the work I carry out is for Interior Designers or property developers. I am passionate about Interior Design myself, so always try to keep up to date with the latest trends and create work to suit. I have previously exhibited at Contemporary Arts Fairs across the country, the Cavendish Pavilion, Bolton Abbey & am currently exhibiting at the Devonshire Arms Hotel and Brasserie, Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire. I have also featured in Homestyle Magazine & BBC's DIY SOS programme with my work!
