Artistic background

I was born and raised in China. At a very young age, I expressed my ardent love for art, especially in painting. I had formal training in art school for three years and graduated from China. Later I migrated to Australia and my first job was as a street portrait artist.
Then I was employed as an illustrator at Ross Perrett Golf Course companies in Australia. After a few years, I attended Eastern College of TAFE in Melbourne, Australia, and took up an Associate Diploma of Arts for two years which broadened my knowledge in the field of art. After that, I worked as a Graphic Designer at Trellian Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne. By the year 2000, I migrated to Germany for good.
For the past twenty years, I focused more on painting and drawings. I began my solo exhibits as well as my group exhibits in local places and gained many interested clients. My works are highly inspired by some of the renowned artists of the 19th century, namely Claude Monet, William Adolph Bouguereau, and Nicolai Fechin. Also, some renowned contemporary artists including Richard Schmid, David Leffel, and Sherrie McGraw serve as my inspiration.

Quote

Painting is the best way for me to reconnect my inner soul with nature.
It brings out the curiosity in me and urges me to find meaning in nature's natural beauty.
It brings me pleasures and surprises and lets me forget time and space.
