Artistic background

Having spent the early part of his career completing a PhD in biology and devoting his time to science, Andrew Arran is inspired by the colours and energy of nature.

Now residing close to where he spent his formative years on the west coast of Scotland, Andrew devotes much of his time to producing stimulating art.

His abstract work is vibrant and dynamic, providing a sense of the organic inspiration from which his pieces are derived.
