Artistic background

Since I was a child I was always interested in art. I am often joking that I didn't choose art as a hobby, because art chose me.
When I was about 3, I started drawing animals on the walls of my room, under the chairs and on the doors (with permanent markers). I pursued art as a hobby into my teens and early twenties, but then stopped for about 18 years. This was due to full time job and other hobbies and responsibilities.
Three years ago I came back to drawing and painting. And from that moment until now my passion completely consumed me. My boyfriend can't listen about art supplies anymore and my paintings are everywhere.
I love spending time researching new drawing and painting techniques, exploring new materials available and trying them out, watching people paint, and in general broadening my knowledge. Currently possibilities are endless, there are so many interesting techniques and materials available that I will need a lifetime to explore them all.
