Allison Louise Swindell
StaffordshireWelcome to my collection of original artwork, created using acrylics, pencils, pens and mixed media.
I rediscovered my creativity in 2017 alongside my long nursing career - I love exploring different styles and subjects, from animals and nature to abstract art and imaginative designs.
Alongside my original artwork, I'm developing my own colouring books through Allison Louise Publishing
"Whimsical Journeys Of Art" Book One onwards - Thank you for visiting and taking a look at my art! 🎨
Artistic background
I started painting, drawing and creating various artworks in 2017, although my interest in art began much earlier. I attended art college in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, in 1987, and have always enjoyed exploring my creative side.I love experimenting with different styles, subjects and techniques, from animals, horses, flowers and nature to abstract, whimsical and highly detailed designs. My work ranges from original paintings to intricate drawings, including white-pencil artwork on black paper.
I enjoy trying new ideas and allowing my creativity to take me in different directions. I don't like to restrict myself to one particular style or subject, as I love the freedom of creating something different each time.
Alongside my original artwork, I have also developed my own colouring book projects through Allison Louise Publishing - "Whimsical Journeys Of Art" - Book One onwards - combining my love of drawing with my passion for creative design.
For me, art is about imagination, expression and seeing the world in different ways. I hope my work brings enjoyment to others, whether they connect with a particular subject, a colour, a detail or simply the feeling a piece gives them.
