In my painting, I cannot limit myself to a single subject or technique. I can depict a joyful and vibrant world as easily as a dark, somber, and starkly contrasting urban one. I explore techniques and styles. My artistic interpretations oscillate between abstraction and figuration.

Artistic background

Art studies at the Art High School of Orléans, France (ESAD).
Studies of lyrical singing technic at the Conservatoire de musique d'Orléans. (High school musical).
Lyrical singer in the professionnal choir of the Opéra de Tours (France) during 30 years.

I am a french professionnal painter. Main time, I paint from imagination, because I love the freedom of evocation. I work in figurative, abstract, impressionistic or photorealistic ways. The most important, for me, is to create images !
All my artworks are original pieces, paintings and drawings, direct from my studio in the Loire Valley, France.

I am interested with all kind of subjects : landscapes, forests, flowers, human figure, still life.I use a lot of technics on canvas, or paper, or wood : oil, watercolor, ink, watersoluble pencils, acrylic, acrylic markers, colored pencils, mixed media, spray paint...
I love graphism in the painting. And glazes too ! I often use transparent colors.
I am very interested by the richness of transparency in the painting.

Interests

I love art, of course, opéra, classical dance, science, cinema.
I read all kind of books.
I play Sudoku ;-)
I live in a trogloditic house, a very typical housing in my region : Centre Val de Loire.
I love nature and animals. I got a lovely little garden.
