Golden hour Oil

Currently on exhibition in Castle Arts centre in Frodsham until June 26.

The oil painting of the golden hour sunset captures a fleeting, sacred stillness—an impression of time holding its breath. The distant hills are rendered with delicate, almost whispered brushstrokes, dissolving gently into the hazy horizon. In contrast, the valley below is radiant, with tall grass ablaze in rich golds, ambers and bright greens, glowing under the warm embrace of the setting sun. The haze on the horizon makes the sky to shine with the golden light.
There's a deep worth expressed in this moment—an emotional richness that speaks of peace, solitude, and reverence for nature's quiet grandeur.
