Acrylic painting on 1 1/2” deep canvas. Contemporary abstract.
“Disregard” is a vibrant layered piece which plays with geometric patterns, blocks and organic form. I wanted to capture the resilience of nature in the face of obstruction. It is a celebration of persistence over constraints, a reminder that life finds a way through whatever stands in its way.
The colours used are rich and vibrant with the inclusion of bronze/gold elements. The edges are painted bronze/gold. It hangs in portrait and is signed front and back.
