Underwater Fire Oil

Underwater Fire is a heavily textured abstract painting inspired by the dramatic meeting of fire, volcanic landscapes and deep ocean waters. Recently inspired by my travels through Indonesia, I wanted to capture the energy and contrast of the underwater world, where intense orange and fiery red tones meet deep blue, grey and earthy layers.

Built with rich mixed-media textures, scraped surfaces and raised details, the painting suggests molten lava, coral formations and an underwater landscape in constant movement. The strong contrast between warm and cool tones gives the piece a bold, dynamic presence.
