Farmer
I painted this oil painting on a 40 × 50 cm canvas, inspired by my visit to our hometown, Earalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka. During my visit, I saw farmers working in the fields, harvesting and cleaning onions.
Farmers are the backbone of the world. Without farmers, there would be no food on our tables. Through this painting, I wanted to honour their hard work, dedication, and important contribution to our lives.
