Description
Boxing hares battle it out - Jill fending off the overly amorous advances of Jack.
Long associated with the moon and the passing seasons hares are sadly increasingly rare. A part of the British landscape since Roman times - hares feature in the island's mythology and in pagan symbolism.
The hares and the grass capturing all the various colours that lurk in the early morning/dusk in March are heavily glossed with a rough acrylic gel which helps enhance the vibrancy of their colours .. crackling suggests the fragile urgency of dawn.
