Description
If you're looking for a miniature piece to fill a small spot, then this small textured acrylic painting of spring birch trees might be just what you're looking for. As well as the texture created with the palette knife, there is subtle texture around the incorporated 'frame' for added interest.
I live in an area where I am surrounded by these magnificent trees and I get to admire them all year round, as they change through the seasons. Birches in spring bring vivid limes and yellows, a real sight to behold.
As well as being beautiful to look at, these trees have a lot of rich symbolism attached to them, and as the title suggests, rebirth, renewal and new beginnings make them a symbol of resilience and new beginnings - something we all associate with springtime.
This piece is on 6mm plywood and is unframed.
