Description
Inspired by the beautiful harbour town of Whitby in Yorkshire on a chilly winters day. The Abbey ruin sits on top of a snow covered hill looking down at the cottages with smoke coming out of the chimneys and boats in the harbour. The lifeboat is moored by its station and bushes with red berries and frosty blades of grass frame the picture. Brings happy memories to anyone who loves the town with its cobbled streets, little shops and fishing boats. Painted in richly pigmented acrylics and oil on a 20 x 16 inch professional canvas with clean white sides, it would be lovely framed as in example photos or hung as is. By well known artist Elisa Trueman, based in Cornwall who is a member of the ABNA whose work sells in galleries to loyal customers throughout the U.K. and overseas.
