Orange Tree Mixed Media

A unique, hand crafted, paper quill art picture in a variety of mixed orange flat tight quills, Inspired by my love of Trees and Hearts.

I loved crafting the Tree which is made of waxed cotton, then adorned with Oranges. The tree trunk and branches remind me of black liquorice.

Every quill is created by hand and individually attached to the artwork, with thoughtfulness and attention to detail of where to place each piece to shape the effect. This piece was a labour of love and took around 50-60 hours.

The picture is mounted on a Black wood float frame 530mm x 430mm (20.9in x 16.9in).
