Description
An original watercolour and gouache painting inspired by the picturesque Odette café in Paris.
Set within a charming Parisian street, this painting captures the character and atmosphere of Odette café, with its distinctive green and warm ochre façades, flower-filled window boxes and inviting outdoor seating. The beautifully weathered buildings rise above the café, creating a wonderful combination of colour, texture and architectural detail.
The quiet street, leafy branches and small groups of people enjoying the café bring a relaxed sense of everyday Parisian life to the scene. I particularly enjoyed capturing the contrast between the soft, muted tones of the old buildings and the vibrant splashes of colour from the flowers and café frontage.
Painted in a loose impressionistic style using watercolour and gouache, I have aimed to capture not only the appearance of this charming corner of Paris, but also the atmosphere and feeling of being there.
An original artwork, hand painted by me, making it a unique piece for anyone who loves Paris, French cafés and atmospheric city scenes.
