A Wish Acrylic

This painting is about a little piece of land on the edge of town - Lewes – between allotments, a railway line and a road (A27). To me what I was seeing, although a remnant, harks back to a pre-industrial, litter free, pastoral time when nature, though farmed, was valued and cared for. Almost certainly romanticised. A wish.

MEDIA: Professional quality matt acrylic gouache with other matt acrylic media on thick, acid-free mounting card. SIGNED and DATED on the reverse.

The painting is ready to hang, professionally mounted and framed with hanging wire attached to the back. It is intentionally, and with careful consideration, framed without glass so as not to detract from the viewing experience which feels soft, lovely, painterly and real.
