Description
From the A27 driving west from Lewes, can be seen the body of the South Downs. A stunning intersection of undulations of chalk hill and vale stretching between Sussex and London. Clean curved edges of chalk hill. An elusive roundness on a round earth in a bowl of sky with cloud. Convex? Concave? I’m driving past on a fast main road with no stopping place. How to depict it. How is it framed other than by my eye?
It’s painted in acrylic on canvas board, signed on the reverse - a semi-abstract impression of what I recall.
The interior images are suggested examples, not photos of actuality.
The painting [will be /] is ready to hang, professionally mounted and framed included in the price, with my signature visible on the reverse. The painting has been framed without glass so as not to detract from the viewing experience and care guidance is included with the painting.
P&P flat, protected and in a reinforced cardboard box within the UK mainland is also included in the price, though any further costs and duties for delivery outside the UK mainland are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Many thanks
