Lying - from the A27 Acrylic

From the A27 driving west from Lewes, can be seen the body of the South Downs - lying. A stunning intersection of undulations of chalk hill and vale stretching between Sussex and London. Clean curved edges of chalk hill. An elusive roundness on a round earth in a bowl of sky with cloud. Convex? Concave? I’m driving past on a fast main road with no stopping place. How to depict it. How is it framed other than by my eye?
It’s painted in acrylic on canvas board - a semi-abstract impression of what I recall.
