Compact jabs of colour punctuate the stillness, carrying a sense of urgency and resonance. Leaving the canvas edges raw accentuates the process — a juxtaposition of unfinished and complete, silence and echo. Mildred is a portrait of introspection, the act of thought caught as both whisper and shout.
