Maximus is a dramatic one off original painted directly on the reverse of the acrylic glass.
It is featured in episode 5 of Jan Peters Artgallery videos.
The two semi abstract ephemeral figures, painted in Jan Peters hallmark style, convey the emotion of reaching for the impossible dream. Inspired by the final scene if the orihinal Gladiator movie. The acrylic glass piece is edged with stainless steel and mounted seamlessly onto black gloss Persex which is fitted with wood slats behind to hang easily and directly flat to the wall.
