TRANQUILLITY XXII Oil

This large circular canvas is one from my award winning Tranquillity Series. The painting focuses on the patterns that appear underwater, on the seabed and on the surface where the light is reflected.

Supplied ready to hang and no framing is required because the painted image is extended around the outer edge.

I have developed this way of painting the sea, one of my favourite subjects over recent years. The surface of the painting is quite smooth and the depth of colour achieved with layers of meticulously blended oil paint.
