I was born during the war. My father, mother, and relatives have told me the story of how my mother went to the hospital to give birth amid the conflict.

As a mother myself, I know the pain of childbirth; yet, the horrors of war are far more cruel. I dedicate this painting to every mother who endured the pain and fear of war to bring a child into the world
