Quietly Endangered Acrylic

This acrylic painting is inspired by pangolins, one of the world's most trafficked animal. The work seeks to draw attention to the animal through bold colours, form and quiet presence, inviting the viewer to look more closely and linger - an act of attention that mirrors my hope that increased awareness can lead to greater care and protection for the species.

By isolation and repeating the pangolin form, the painting reflects both their vulnerability and their resilience.
