Pod Sculpture

Inspired by the wonder of seeds and the perpetuity of nature's bounty. I thought it appropriate, since it is about Nature, to create a large pod to declare this; and the use of paper which derives from the Nature's trees. It is all formed out of paper pulp and newspaper from India. The spikes are indicative of how Nature "arranges" for it to be spread by sticking to objects or coats that move. The paper pulp endows it with a rugged, strong look, reminiscent of a bark.
