Best Friends Acrylic

BEST FRIENDS was created mostly with my fingers, an intuitive technique whereby the paint feels its way across the surface in a loose, abstract fashion. Through each layer the wild flowers emerge, creating movement and unpredictability, allowing the painting to evolve organically.

When I created the painting, I felt that the daisies and the purple flowers really complemented each other, allowing each other to shine yet still appearing beautiful when together – isn’t that what best friends do, too?

This painting is an original, created in my studio in Cheshire, England and comes direct from me. Only artist grade materials are used.
