Description

Plein-air oil painting looking towards Vixen Tor on Dartmoor, the day was quite overcast but dry, so I set up on the road verge opposite Merrivale quarry and tried to capture the slight break in the overcast day which gave Vixen Tor a atmospheric feeling.
The painting is done on a MDF board gessoed three times with a warm tint before the paintings started, it approximately 20cm x 15cm and comes unframed for you to present to your own requirements.
