My lifelong fascination with exotic birds began in South Wales, where my
mother established a sanctuary that nurtured and protected rare avian
species. Witnessing these vibrant creatures up close ignited a passion for
their colourful plumage and fantastical allure.
This early inspiration has now culminated in my latest collection of paintings.
Drawing upon the historical use of birds in textile and homeware design, I've
juxtaposed realistic avian imagery with the fantastical elements often found in
contemporary decor.
