Winter Daffodils Acrylic

'Winter Daffodils' is a still life painting created in acrylic on canvas, using a limited colours palette - white, yellows and purples. I wanted to create a wintry feel while depicting spring flowers like Daffodils. I also added Gypsophila flowers - you will see these in most of my still-life paintings as I always have them in my home for reference. I also like how they look together with other flowers in both real life and in paintings. The vase in the painting has a vintage feel to it and I used an enamel vase as a reference.
The artwork measures approximately 18" x 24" x 1.5", it is varnished with gloss varnish and it is ready to hang.
