Description
Laigueglia is a pretty fishing village in Liguria, Italy, near where I spend my summers. Prone to attacks from the sea the Saracen Tower was built in the Middle Ages to spot potential invaders. There is a historical re-enactment of such a battle in July each year between the ‘invaders’ and ‘defending locals’ that is fun to watch.
The painting is Winsor and Newton watercolour paints on cold pressed, acid free, 300gsm watercolour paper.
The A4 size (29.7 x 21cm) artwork comes with a mount and backing board that is size 40 x 30cm. This original painting has my signature on the front and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The artwork is also shown with a frame but this is for illustration purposes only.
