This small plein air study captures the dramatic beauty of the Peak District, where the sun breaks through, casting a warm glow on the hills. To the right, storm clouds gather ominously, hinting at the approaching rain. The contrast between the sunlit hills and the dark, brooding clouds creates a powerful dynamic, showcasing the fleeting, ever-changing nature of the landscape.
