When I’m painting it gives my brain chance to focus and heal. I love being in my garden and all the different shapes, textures and lighting makes me feel at peace. This scene has elements of my garden mixed with a magical imaginary haven bathed in warm golds and subtle glitter, with a meandering stream and twilight trees. Metallic accents and sweeping brush strokes give a magical, dreamlike glow.
