This series began with a photograph of an algae-covered wall, its pattern looking like bubbles rising in water. From that single texture, an invented misty lake took shape with reeds, bare branches at the water's edge with ripples spreading from something glimpsed beneath. The image was built by compositing these photographed elements over that single source, recomposing it into a mysterious landscape. Misty Lake plays with depth and concealment. Secrets from below are only revealed in magical glimpses.

MISTY LAKE 01, SURFACE   Reeds rise at the water's edge, wrapped in mist. The surface almost still, the quiet magical ambience hypnotic. A special quiet place for reflection, a place like something remembered from a dream you can't quite recall.
