Description
From UNIVERSE Series (limited Edition of 10) SPACE JUNK Following the Universe images, I turned the same eye on space itself for this piece built from shattered car windscreen glass and mechanical fragments found on tarmac. The shards of glass catching light like distant stars.
Space junk endangers both future exploration and Earth's own atmosphere: burning satellites release aluminum oxide, a byproduct known to erode the ozone layer and shift the planet's albedo. Left, the debris will only accumulate. reminding us that even our reach into space leaves environmental consequences.
