Description
A maximum of 20 prints to be produced. A cityscape depicting the early morning horizon of London's Canary Wharf skyline.
In the foreground a figure emerges from a lighted bunker, while her partner is scaling a small brick wall to start a foraging mission. The stark difference between the Canary Wharf and a lot of London's have-nots. Hopefully, no Londoner will ever have to resort to this.
I got the idea from a contemporary oil painting showing an early morning scene from a bunker in World War 1.
The original was selected by the Cambrian Royal Art Academy, Conwy, North Wales to be part of an exhibition in May 2021. It did not sell, but was well received.
