Description
I’m a brain-injury survivor who rediscovered focus, joy and rhythm in painting. Growing up opposite the beach, I am fascinated by the sea. It’s beauty but also how scary it can be. I’ve tried to translate tidal cycles, the light, and using my memory to create a bold, textured landscape.
I hope I’ve painted the moving transition from day to night, stillness and movement, memory to presence—using impasto, a warm palette, and occasional metallics to illuminate perception.
I have had a lot of interest in this style and been asked to recreate it a few times. It’s part of a series that have been purchased previously and this is the last one!
