Hadrian's Wall by Crag Lough. Original oil painting. One of my favourite places to visit, walk and paint is Hadrian's Wall. This view with Crag Lough is one of the many dramatic views in Northumberland. As the summer fades into Autumn and the light begins to gently fade, the warm tones permeated the landscape and highlighted the remains of the magnificent wall, built during Roman occupation of Britain. It was the edge of Rome's Empire.
Painted oil on canvas, this is presently sold unframed.
