Orange Pear Acrylic

The purpose is to celebrate and explore colour and shape primarily. I love pears and enjoy showing their organic elements against a geometric background to create a decorate painting overall, to be enjoyed for colour and shape, really. Also it has the amusing title of “Orange…” because as an artist I have freedom in how to render a subject, hopefully to make it visually interesting. I am interested in looking at the familiar in an unfamiliar way that might create a fresh viewpoint of an everyday object.

It has a hanging device. Signed/dated on the reverse.
