Yellow Begonia in Flower Pot Acrylic

Paulius Stankevicius, British, 1983- present.
"Yellow Begonia in Flower Pot", 2024, acrylic on linen canvas.
Description: “Yellow Begonia in Flower Pot” presents a minimalist composition where a single bright begonia rises from a simple, understated pot, set within a calm abstract scenery. Soft geometric shapes and gentle colour fields frame the flower, allowing its vivid yellow tones to become the focal point of the piece. The contrast between the restrained pot and the expressive bloom creates a quiet tension — a balance of simplicity and vibrancy. This modern painting invites the viewer to pause, appreciate form, and find beauty in the purity of everyday objects transformed through abstraction.
