Born in 1960 in Loughborough, Leicestershire England, and now resides and works in Skegness on the Lincolnshire coast.
went to Loughborough collage of art, but would class himself very much as a self taught artist,
he is a contemporary artist best recognized for creating land and seascapes using oil paints with dramatic and atmospheric skie,s with particular interest on clouds.
In his paintings every landscape as its own uniqueness, interpreting what seen with complex multi- layered fields of color, Texture, and Patterns, which are inspired by the ever changing light and weather along with sometimes the untidiness and power of nature.
his style is impressionism/tonalism with a modern feel to it , influenced by artists such as john constable, Turner, George Inness , Arthur Hoeber, and Homer Dodge Martin from the 19th century
