White Noise - What Lies Beneath
76 x 76 cm
Acrylic on canvas
Sides painted Black
Ready to hang
Signed on the front ( chrome marker)
Thousands upon thousands of monochrome splashes layered over a metallic base.
The white noise represents how it feels to be over whelmed 101 one things going on at once clouding your mind, almost suffocating. This is the monochrome layer splashes of grey white and black.
What lies beneath is the recovery of being overwhelmed, things start to piece together again and you can see in colour.
Beneath the monochrome layer are metallic splashes of bronze, gold, purple and blue. When studying the piece you can see small pops of colour emerging from the back.
