Distant Calm Acrylic

Loosely based on the Stanage Edge area near Hathersage in the Peak District. This panoramic shows a couple and their dog enjoying the dusky ochre view. A gentle calm surrounds them. If you are looking for a deeply calm, soulful piece this may fit the bill.

I thoroughly loved the calm hours I took to paint this piece. The serenity of the light fading, reflecting warm ochre hues through the valley and the vertical rocks. I love views such as these. I hope this piece takes you to the feeling of satisfaction after hiking to a beautiful viewpoint, and soaking up the scene.

This painting is on artist quality cotton canvas, and stretched with strong wooden bars. It is ready hang. There is a signature on the front and on the reverse is the Title, a date and signature. All my works are accompanied with a unique Certificate of Authenticity.
