I have always loved ladybirds.
In fact, I once had a red and black Ford KA car which reminded me of a ladybird.
This painting was so joyful to paint. I enjoyed every minute.
I was inspired by a ladybird I saw on a leaf in my garden.
My paintings are intentionally small, 8x8 inches, as many of my regular customers request this size as they are easy to hang, frame or place on a bookcase or mantlepiece.
