Welcome to my store.

I hope you enjoy viewing my artworks as much as I have loved creating them.

You will see from the art in my store that I paint a wide range of subjects. This is intentional, as I love to continually challenge myself.

Unfortunately in January 2025, my life changed dramatically, and I had to leave my job, when I was diagnosed with a debilitating brain disorder, and then in October 2025, I was also diagnosed with breast cancer. As you can imagine, it has been a very challenging time, but art has really helped me to manage my symptoms and stay positive and motivated.

Artistic background

Initially I started watching the late, great Bob Ross and had a go at landscapes in acrylics.

Then in January 2025, when I was diagnosed with the brain disorder, to stay positive and focused, I joined some art groups on Facebook and found Beginners Acrylic Art and an art teacher, Jenny Hardacre, who ran the group. She does free live painting classes on Facebook. So I started doing those. Then I joined her monthly online membership art classes. I loved her style of teaching so much that I had four one to one sessions with her and then undertook her online acrylic mastery course, beginner to expert. And as a result of her help and inspiration, I have sold 49 original paintings and 12 prints since January 2025.

I have now been diagnosed with breast cancer, and painting continues to keep me positive and empowered. It is a life saver for me.

Interests

I paint every day and I find it to be so empowering and life-affirming.

I am very lucky to live minutes from the sea, so I walk my rescue dog Beau several times a day along the clifftops.

And to relax and unwind, I love yoga and meditation.
