To me, this painting represents the beauty, joy and magic of winter: the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the wonder of fresh snow and magical reflections in the water.
And it also it represents how I feel about the breast cancer/surgery and treatments I am currently dealing with. There is that icy bridge to cross but all around me there is still so much beauty and joy to be found.
