Message in a bottle Acrylic

I live a few minutes from the sea, and one day, whilst walking my late rescue dogs Jez and Miilie, I came across a message in a bottle on the beach. I was so curious, I had to open the screw top off the bottle and take the message out. It read "Anna, I will love you forever, Luke x". After reading the message, I then put the note back into the bottle and left it on the beach, hopefully for Anna to find.

So, since that experience, I have always felt compelled to paint this piece.
