Description

Arriving at the beach at Alnmouth in Northumberland we were greeted by the sun breaking through very stormy clouds which provided a very dramatic contrast . This painting is sourced from a couple of photos I was able to take . It is in mixed media largely acrylic and with oil pastel building up the layers using palette knives and brushes.
