Autumn Peace Acrylic

Paul Stankevicius, British, 1983 - present.
"Autumn Peace", 2024, acrylic on canvas.
• Description: “Autumn Peace” is a contemporary abstract painting that captures the quiet harmony of an autumn forest mirrored on still water. Layers of warm ochres, deep ambers, and muted greens with blue dissolve into fluid, reflective forms, creating a sense of movement suspended in time. The forest appears both present and imagined — its shapes softened, stretched, and echoed across the surface of the water. Gentle contrasts and blended textures evoke the calm of seasonal change, inviting the viewer into a moment of balance where nature’s fading colours meet their own serene reflection.
